Cookie notice
Last updated 2026-09-25 · CS Cloud Ltd
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. QueuePower uses only the cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the service. We set no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies on our website or in the product, and we do not use a consent banner because none is needed for strictly necessary cookies under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. Visit counting on our website is cookieless and aggregate; the privacy policy describes it.
1. What we set
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| __session, __client_uat, __clerk_db_jwt | Clerk (authentication) | Keep you signed in and let the server verify your session on each request. Set only after you sign in or sign up. | Session cookies expire when the session ends; the sign-in state cookie lasts up to 7 days. |
| __cf_bm (and similar) | Clerk's edge network | Bot protection on the sign-in and sign-up forms. | Up to 30 minutes. |
| theme (localStorage, not a cookie) | QueuePower | Remembers whether you chose light or dark mode so the page renders in the right theme before it loads. | Until you clear site data. |
2. Third-party content
Our pages load no third-party scripts other than Clerk’s sign-in components, which appear only on the authentication pages. Stripe’s checkout and customer portal are separate Stripe-hosted pages governed by Stripe’s own cookie policy.
3. How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Because the cookies we set are required for sign-in, blocking them will prevent you from using the product, though the public website will continue to work.
4. Changes
If we ever add cookies that require consent, we will introduce a consent mechanism before they are set and update this notice at the same time.
